First, a big thank you to each of the participants of the “YOUmoz – Win a free SEOmoz Premium Membership contest” that later got amended to the “Win a One Year Premium SEOmoz Membership” contest. I think it’s fair to say the contest was a success and both the contributors and readers came out winners. This is one fantastic community.
Most of you are aware that the one year membership was generously offered up by Paul @ Crediblecopy.org. Paul specializes in credible copywriting marketing and advertising. Thank you again, Paul. There is also a one month membership that I offered for second prize. The winners were selected by the total number of thumbs up votes for each entry. Thumbs down were not included. The votes were tallied as of Tuesday, January 29th at 5:00pm (PST). While I do not know the typical volume of YOUmoz posts that are submitted, I believe it is safe to say that the contest elicited several contributions from members that had not previously submitted and total number of submissions were up. (Poor Rebecca may attest). Thank you for the extra effort, Rebecca! There were a total of 21 posts and a combined 297 Thumbs Up and 628 Comments!
While there are only two memberships as prizes, Rebecca agreed that each of the participants deserves a coveted “SEOmoz link” to each contributor’s respective websites. (Yes, they follow). I’ve done my best to link with appropriate anchor text.
With that said, the winners and participants are as follows (thumbs and comments reported at the time this entry was written):
